California's the best state, in my opinion. I know they have an unwarranted ego the size of Texas, and I know Los Angeles is mostly shit, and I know they'll all be dead of drought in 5 years. But the amount of interesting and varied people living in one state isn't found anywhere else in the US, possibly anywhere else in the world. Their quality of their life is the best in the US, their wealth is unmatched, they have some of the best universities in the world, and the pussy game's ridiculous.
