Is there a country more depressingly shit than Best Korea? I watched the Vice and Lisa Ling documentary and the whole country is just so fucking tragic. Starving babies, 30 year olds literally functionally blind from cataracts that can be treated in 5 minutes anywhere else in the world, concentration camp defectors, no personal cell phone use allowed, absolutely no internet use allowed, huge rolling black outs in the capital city, hospitals that (not making this up) LITERALLY use empty beer bottles instead of IV drips because they cant afford the plastic drips offered LITERALLY anywhere else in the entire world, rusty surgical operating tools, no morphine or pain nulling medication for operations, kids becoming deformed and dying from easily treatable things like broken femurs, surgical equipment donated from US companies through humanitarian programs but are unused because Best Korean doctors are practicing medicine from more than half a century ago the list goes on I just can't remember all of it
Worst aspect about all of it has to be the fact that Kim Jong Ill and his son Kim Jong Un sound like they live like frat boys importing luxury shit from everywhere else in the world like wines, liqours, fast cars, and movies/pornography while strictly enforcing this bullshit philosophy of no foriegn reliance at all.

If you really want to stop it, the best thing to do is just piss Kimmy off. There's a human rights group in South Korea that fills balloons with things like The Interview DVDs, books on North Korea, photos of South Korea, ect. and then lets them float over the border. Kim Jong-Un said that when the movie The Interview was released, it was "an act of war."
