The last time I was out searching for apartments in India, I saw a few really amazing places with multiple bedrooms and wrap-around terraces for less than $500-$600 per month.
However, I would imagine that very long-term in India would take its toll on me, culturally. I'm not bound by an anchor to the United States, but, as a white American, a lot of the staring and pushing and shoving can get very exhausting and make a bad day just that much worse.

Depends on which field of work you're looking to go in. If you have decent education and some experience, then you can expect to get a salary of 50-60k rupees pm (I'm talking about corporate jobs). I don't know much about the medical field though.

I've had a few Indian girls. All of their parents were fine with what was going on except for one, who never let me meet her mom or dad. Generally speaking, the only brown girls (at least in India) who will date outside their race are the ones who are liberal enough to keep an open mind.
