My mum swore around me a lot as a child. Once she cut herself while chopping onions and yelled out "Shitfuckdamnwank" really quickly. I was 6 and told all my mates. Got in trouble a few times for swearing at school as well

My mom swears a lot, but my dad almost never. I never swear around them because I'm not entirely sure if they would approve or not so I just don't, but my friend has always swore at and around his parents and they are fine with it, or just don't complain about it I guess
My highschool was pretty lax with it. Students mildly swore in class quite a bit and not many teachers cared, even some teachers occasionally swore. But during Elementary and shit though you would usually get a stern talking to if you swore

The Dutch are masters of swearing. It is pretty common and people don't really care. Usually think it is appropriate and funny.
However - during Elementary, they would usually start a rant if you swore with words too dirty.
