He's an autist. He had tremendous potential going into this election, but at every debate he just seems so socially awkward, no matter what he says, it makes him lose points. Not to mention, he's trying to do some weird mix of I want the government out of people's business and I want the government to be in people's business to enforce republican values, which isn't really working.
He also doesn't support giving foreign aid to Israel, something the moderates in the first debate grilled him for.
