Is it okay to give up on a piece/drawing.
I've been on this one for too many days. Not a lot of work on it, but at some point I didn't really enjoyed working on it.
Should I force myself through it ?
I just started studying, I almost never did that before, and for now I'm enjoying it. I'm mostly copying what's in those books and trying to memorize, but that's a beginning. Anyway I'm enjoying it much more than this drawing I'm stuggling with.
the whole process was wrong, I was too enthusiastic and I haven't thought about what would be in the background.

yes, it is the reason why people thumbnail & do studies before starting a piece
don't commit to polishing a turd, get the drawing, comp, colors, lighting right first because its highly unlikely you will be able to fix them later on
Don't confuse this with never finishing anything, just make sure you have everything planned out so it becomes a piece you can be proud of
