What should i do get get better? beside practice, you gotta be specific.
finally trying to learn how to draw women, spent an hour before going to bed.
I mostly copied art from a pdf I downloaded, I just tried to tweak a few things
I think my major problem is the face, they seem to harsh and not feminine enough, the eyes are the hardest part and also the shape of the head

Hair/face ratio is way off. Either scale up the face or scale down the hair. Colors you used for face are too brown and washed out. Try color picking from the ref, I see a lot more blues/pinks in there.

Is that really the problem? The lips are off center and there's no brow and the lines look shitty, but I feel like the drawing is kind of decent. The rendering makes it look much shittier than it really is.

it's not bad but do it again paying attention to the proportions more. you probably have an easier time with less bland faces because you're taking note of the features more when they are more prominent.

Seems like I was within 10%, but it does look wrong, so I guess more accuracy is needed.
How do you judge proportions on a digital piece without cheating? For life-drawing I would measure with a thumb on the pencil at arms length, but you can't really do that on a screen.

You learn a lot of fundamentals from doing quality studies, and its a good way to review. An example would be drawing >pic related. You not only learn anatomy, but properties of light as well.
