Will drawing clothed figures in public moving, myself in a mirror, occasional family and friends who will sit clothed for a few minutes, and pictures get me to a level where I won't make a fool of me at a live model drawing session?
Also do they mind if you call and ask what types of poses and gender the model will be and maybe to send a few pictures beforehand so I can get an idea for her/him?
Also can you move around like 3-5 times during an hour pose instead of just doing it from one spot for an hour?

No matter how bad you are, that wont happen.

Nobody at those live drawing sessions cares. Just keep practicing my dude. Also, them are some long ass legs, I'd bring it down a notch or try to balance with midriff.

>That's reassuring and I want to believe that but I've run into way to many condescending artists to be completely sure that I won't be laughed at.
They wont. Most live drawings I went to the people where either very distant or very helpful. Never nasty.
