What are some good resources for learning watercolor paint? I'm trying to get into this after spending my entire life just doing pen/pencil drawings. I have a good grasp of gesture and anatomy but I want to branch out and add color to my art. I hear watercolor is a bitch to learn but I love how it looks. Any suggestions? Here's a pic to keep in with the thread theme.
This might not be the most impressive piece, but I find it really comfy. Especially the way the houses in the middle are painted. I think I like it because the style reminds me of 80's children's book illustrators. Anyone know more like this?

This is true. For some reason good taste becomes even more important when using watercolor.
