I think I remember people talking how this was a good program for references, I can't find anything though.
>>
learn to think in 3D and ditch that shit
>>

I remember that program. It's called 'if you want to do 3D >>>/3/ is thataway. This is a 2D mans board.'
>>

Post your art.

Uh no. I want to draw in 2D and use that as reference.
Do you complain at people who who ask for reference pics in these threads >>2517644 or reference from life models too?
>>
>>2531834
/ic/ in general has a massive hateboner for 3d, just ignore those people

Yeah no. Unless this anon is actually Krenz, that is not their work.
>>
>>2531799
looks like zbrush familia
>>
>>2531839

Just kidding it's not mine it's by Krenz, look it up he's great and teaches how to draw in perspective, I love his work
>>
>>2531847
>just kidding
Hahah, nice backpedal you fuck

OP the image is from a 3D blog called Kamito Katachi, reverse image search it you tard. I think this person just makes the models themselves and posts large packs online.
>>
>>2531807
Playing around in 3D programs, looking at figures from different angles, turning them, changing the camera lense for different perspective distortions etc IS a way to learn to think in 3d, you stupid noobie.
>>
>>2531861
Maybe stop dicking around in a computer program and go out and draw from the living for once you fat fuck?
>>
>>2531861
I saw that too but I think it's not that or maybe I just have a wrong but similar image, because I remember anons saying that it was a program where you didn't have to make the models yourself, you just customized them and moved them around to create whatever composition you wanted.

I assume you meant to reply to me.
There's a program called design doll, it looks similar. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of?
>>
>>2531883
I think that's it, if not it serves the same purpose, thanks!

Shitposting sucks.

OP: I'm fairly certain that this program is DesignDoll.

It can be very useful for mocking up a figure to get a gesture down, and it is (IMO) the easiest program to pose a figure with.

The free version is very basic in it's functions though. You can't export or import models, so you always have to start from a default cartoony figure (pic related). Not being able to save models makes the free version only good for very quick mockups.

The image you attached looks like the models were more properly sculpted (or downloaded from the internet), and a scene was developed. It's very likely the paid version.

I definitely recommend checking it out. Another alternative is DAZ 3D. The models are much better, but it's not nearly as easy to use.

Good luck!
>>
>>2531898

>design doll

Neat program. Shame the paid version is like $80, I can't find a torrent for it either.

Actually I think I found a more recent version (4.0.0.9). Pass is "[email protected]".

>>2531931
>>
>>2531932
Second link is an online installer so it probably won't work when they update the program again as the crack inside is for 4.0.0.9 .
>>
>>2531932
First one contains the whole program.
I'm assuming the smaller one just includes the serial key generator, which is very small

>>2531919
>>2531919
Just worked for me very well. I'm in.

Quick (likely dumb) question - should I use a VPN every time I use a cracked software? I don't know if programs periodically connect with the developers to check the licenses.
>>
>>2531939
Thanks, it worked.
>>
>>2531947

If you're worried, block the program from outgoing connections via your firewall.
>>
>>2531947

How did you activate it, by the way? I'm trying to enter a serial, but it tells me to restart the program then doesn't actually activate it, so I still can't use DA numbers.
>>
>>2531898
Is it good though? The base model is so shit and stylized for no reason, is there any actual way to just load up actual human instead of this abomination? I spend good 10 mins playing around with the sliders (who the fuck designed this system, jesus christ) and couldnt get anything that didnt look either retarded or anime.

No idea why would you use this shit instead of Poser/DAZ like a normal person.
>>
>>2532000

Scratch that, I was trying to use the latest version rather than the 3.9.8.9
>>
>>2532009

If you crack it / buy it you can download decent models.

The main appeal is it's relatively intuitive.
>>
>>2532009
This >>2532011

It's really not the best for highly accurate figures and lighting. It's much better for general posing and reference. DD is very, very easy to create poses that aren't super stiff.

Still though, I managed semi-realistic proportions with the sliders. You need to really add some mass to the body, arms and legs, and decrease the size of the head. Use your knowledge of anatomy to fill in the rest. If you're drawing a clothed figure, then the intricacies of the form don't even matter.

>>

that's clearly the default zbrush shader.

thing is, zbrush is not good for posing characters: you need to select the parts you want to move first. you better use design doll or similar for that.

also, the real usefulness of 3d software is for complex perspective of hard surface (non-organic) shit. in that case, you better learn modeling in blender, or sketch up, if you're into that.
>>
Does anyone know if the model from the L'Ecorché app exists anywhere as a 3ds max file or something similar that can be pirated? The only desktop version of the program is for mac.
>>
>>2531858
>nice backpedal you fuck

What the fuck are you talking about? He was never trying to make a point with the original image...
>>
>>2531799
No idea why people are so unhelpful. But that is without a doubt ZBrush.
Through if you do decide to learn it, dont be overwhelmed by the UI, just take it piece by piece and look up tutorials/keybindings for shit.
>>
>>2531931
>>2532061
File by itself it's harmless, but while installing it tries to fetch files from the internet
So I wouldn't trust it.
>>
>>2531799
Arsefilled useless comments aside

That's Zbrush but get Design Doll if you want poses. It's free and you can pretty much shape what you want.
>>
>>2531931
Tried it, works fine. Thanks.
>>
>>2535016
just search for posable models of muscle structure that are used for creating marketing material for medical stuff.

surely one of those exists for maya or 3ds max.
>>
>>2532009
Unless you're intending to trace the damn model, it doesn't matter. DesignDoll is of no real use to someone who has no basic foundation in human anatomy and weight.

I use it for scene perspective, myself.
>And only out of laziness.
>>
Why would anyone use design doll when there's poser which is a more powerful tool?. Genuine question.
>>
>>2540801
I'm >>2540777

Poser is a fantastic learning tool.
DD is a quick n' dirty scene composer for professionals who have deadlines to meet and already know what they want to draw and how to do it.
