Style will evolve naturally as you learn to draw. Style is also something that is flexible. Most artists have a few different 'styles' that they do stuff in, depending on what they need to do.

A lot of beginner artists focus so much on having a style, when what they really need to focus on is the basics of art. Learn anatomy, proportion, composition, and color theory. Having a solid understanding of these is fundamental. Not having them will make any 'style' essentially worthless, since it won't look good without an understanding of these principles. Even cartoony drawings rely on a sense of proportion and movement and fundamentals based on real life. You need to know the rules, first, and then you can break them responsibly.

Focus on learning how to draw realistically. Then you can exaggerate and build a style from there.
