Do you ever find that erotic art drawn by non erotic artists is more captivating than artists who specialize in pornographic art?
I've found recently that I have a fascination with seeing an artists breadth of art to cover a good range of topics and concept, and then the icing on the cake is their pornographic art on the side.
Does anyone else consider drawing erotic art as a splurge of sorts? I can't draw naked women as an artistic thing, if I'm drawing tits, I'm drawing tits for fun.

Successful non-porn artists are good at drawing porn because they have to actually be good at art to make a penny off if anything that isn't porn.

Naked women doesnt automatically = erotic, although you know that. Once you get deep into your anatomy studies you dont really see the nude figure as a sexual object, thats not necessarily a beginner mentality but more of a maturity thing although there are many adults who who still fall into the prude catagory. It is satisfying to see established artists make sexual drawings though, imo if it isnt tasteful and well executed it makes it seem trashy though (see:sakimichan).

I think it's just good artists being good at art, and erotic art despite eliciting certain feelings, is still art.
