I've tried it (for maybe 10-15 minutes). It's a fun toy.

Like, I don't want to downplay that. It's SERIOUSLY fun. It made me order my own HTC Vive (I was going to get either that or Oculus anyway, but was waiting for more reviews first).

But I can't see what use it would be in my professional work, at all. I would liken it more to Minecraft than to some serious art creation software. It does give a tantalizing idea of how 3D modeling/sculpting might possibly benefit from VR, but I'm waiting for a proper application for that.

"Oculus Quill" sounds like that, IN THEORY:

anyway, the sensible thing would be not expecting nothing really usable for a 1st gen product.

Except it's completely different. It's still not viable as a professional tool, but Medium is more like baby's first 3d sculpting, while tiltbrush is just random lines in 3d space.

Are there known plans to migrate photoshop, zbrush, or any other professional software to VR?

it seems like a no brainer, for 3d software, at least.
