I'm making this thread so people can post art from artists they are interested in and passer-bys can drop little comments, critiques of their work, what they think of their skill, their strong points, how hard would it be to achieve such a level, what to learn to get as good, etc
I think it might be interesting, as long as it doesn't derail in shitposting.
So for a starter, what do you think of Ahmed Aldoori's art? I'm watching some of his videos and it's okay, but he's mostly doing the same thing again and again, same faces, same highlights points, eyes... feels very unimaginative, even if that's certainly considered style.
Oh, and I forgot to mention but by acknowledged I meant "guys who got an already big, and still growing fanbase". Can be super famous classic artists to new web-made Sakimichans (I'm also interested in what you think of her/him, but no shitpost please).
Also, lately I'm very fond of the style of this webcomic artists, the figures and realistic proportions while staying kinda cute. What do you think of it? http://bato.to/reader#a2b5a376a103c663_17

I like this guy for how undefined and implied detail feel he has to his work, I suppose you could also blame him of same face, but I am ok in this case, because I like the style
ahmed is another artist from the list I mentioned

and this one is for you, while not a very high level of detail, you can see he puts time in his works
personally the things I like the most at him are his colors and his girls, not like he has a wide variety so another one trick pony, and again, I am totally fine with it. also he has a few works which don't read well at first

this is why I do this, so others can find stuff they like

. i met this girl up in nova scotia a year back her webcomic is cute and she animates for that teen titan's go! show: http://cecameron.tumblr.com/
i made a post earlier but this one goes to my school, really quiet and kinda weird, but her stuff's cool. i like her comics and jelly looking people better than the abstract skeletons the professors like.http://ruberneck.tumblr.com/
weird girl's bf's shit is cool, he's making a game and isn't an asshole so he's okay in my book. fun jerk to get drunk with http://cancer-cinema.com/:

Not too big a fan of her linework. Like her art style, though. And she's pretty great at landscapes.

Animation chick's work is kinda nice, but her character designs are terrible. Like Osmosis Jones X Gravity Falls.
Ruberneck chick seems pretty terrible desu. A lot of really rushed half-baked work. If she put more effort into individual pieces it might be better.
Game designer bf has some neat work. But he could definitely benefit from having someone help him with the writing. It's all pretty high school tier. Then again the poor writing might contribute to the sense of disorientation he's going for. Iunno.
