Best fully posable figure for referencing basic human poses? Pic definitely not related, this thing isn't nearly flexible enough. Looking for something fully posable and articulate.

Action figures count, by the way.

If you're willing to throw lots of money at japanese people, these are probably the best:

I was looking at these, but the fucking anime faces and body types really turn me off. There's gotta be something a little more realistic, right?

these are very great! thanks

I don't have it, but the figma archetype series are pretty good. As you can see here they can be put into a wide variety of poses (much more so than any other figma because there's no things like clothes or armor to restrict).

Ah, maybe. These kinda share the same problem I had with these >>2462961
But I guess regardless of what figure I use, I should be able to replicate the pose without the anime style of the figure itself hindering my art. If I'm a decent enough artist like I think I am, I should be decent enough not to let something so small mess up how I draw things.

Let the thread continue, though. If a realistic, fully posable figure exists, I'm dying to see it.

These are your best options, get them when they're released:

Alternatively, a 1/6 base body on eBay or something. Do research and make sure it's not fragile.
