Its the first time I've ever tried this process, of course its going to look ugly. Basically modeling and photogrametry and then editing in zbrush and photoshop. Most critiques I see of art schools and the art world in general today is postmodernism, your photo embodies that sensibility. That's something I don't like either so don't worry.
