The pieces look a bit flat. The techniques on them look rather cheap, and the line art color choice is odd for the first piece. I cant really analyze the 3rd one as much, but my favorite out of the 3 is the Crab man. Overall, I'd rate your pieces maybe a 6/10. Also maybe you could use some human facial and body proportion studies.

Being paid professionally doesn't state anything about your art quality, it just indicates how easy others can work with you. You're either valued for being a good communicator, reviser, or completing projects rapidly.
You do comics, whereas the majority of us are in concept art and illustration. The latter industries focus on your technical skills in art. Comics value easy communication, quick revisions, and project completion over technical skill.
If you can get through the industry with a lack of fundamentals, then more power to you. It wouldn't hurt to fix a few glaring issues though.
