Drawfag stories
>always very important for me to tune my pressure settings and brush settings to get just the right quality of line
>for a while now I've had episodes where the pen keeps drawing after I lift it from the tablet
>tonight, I've finally had enough and decide to google the issue
>solution turns out to be simple enough : just have to remove the nib and get whatever's causing the interference out
>do it, start drawing
>line is twice as thick as usual

Hard. Round Brush.

I know how to fox your problem.
Draw traditionally instead, faggot.
for some reason, every time I make a thread on /ic/ it ends up like this. Still, I'm not sure why it triggers you that some random anon wants to calibrate his tablet's pressure. It's already fixed btw, I just had to spent 10 minutes on the settings file.

Why is drawing on a tablet lesser than drawing on paper? Don't be jelly you're too poor to afford a tablet, faggot.
>>2415304
How do you fox a problem?
>>2415287
>pick up pencil to draw
>completely devoid of imagination and original thought
>havnt drawn anything for over a month
YOU CANT MAKE THIS SHIT UP
>frustrated all week because barely enough time to draw at night after long day at work
>finally reach week end
>fuck around all day until evening
>start drawing full speed, stay up longer than I should
>repeat the following week
>have shitty old crashing pc
>put auto-save on just in case
>auto-save crashes software
>did not save

LOL
>>2416682
Oh my.
jesus fuck even that sounds complicated. just how difficult is making things digitally anyway compared to traditional?
>>2415287
you need to be really fucking careful when removing/replacing the nib,
remember this for future reference. it's easy to wreck your pen when tweaking with those front parts.
My Cintiq 13HD broke on the same day that the I lost an entire file of work.
>>2416599
just copy shit?
>>2415287
>Drawfag
hi /v/
>>2417150
there's really nothing complicated with anything I said. I don't use much traditional but I'm pretty sure it's more difficult with trad.
>>2417153
what exactly is the risk ? seemed pretty straight forward to me : pull out the nib, shake the pen, put it back in. I don't see which part I could have fucked up
>Back in highschool, used to draw during class all the time
>One day between classes the girlfriend of the leader of this mexican "gang" in my school grabs one of my drawings and laughs with her friends, then rips it in half in front of my face
>Hold my tears until I get home
>Tell my brother who is one year older than me and is a badass (we went to the same school and he hated immigrants, basically the main character of American History X)
>He's pissed about it too
>Next day, break between classes, everyone is talking or whatever
>See that girl by the (open) window talking to people outside
>Suddenly brother walks in
>Oh boy
>Walks up to the unsuspecting girl from behind
>Shuts the window full force while the girl's head was outside like a fucking guillotine
>Walks out of the class
>mfw nobody ever touched my drawings again
>>2415304
OP has already been...out foxed.
>>2417182
/v/ does not only use the term newfriend
>>2417962
yet /ic/ does not because it's redundant as anyone here is presumed to be a "drawfag"
>>2417327
This is the most "didn't happen" thing that has ever not happened. Jesus Christ.
>>2417992
>implying most people on this board actually draw
>implying most people dont just lurk to procrastinate drawing and save references/books theyll never use
>use mostly colored pencils lately
>have special sharpening tin where I keep my shavings
>over the course of several weeks it fills up
>feel that the amount of shavings is correlated to my progress
>feel emotionally attached to them
>cannot make myself throw them away
I've spilled them three times already, every time i picked them all up
pic related its my shavings
>>2418171
who sharpens pencils like that?
get a box cutter and do it the proper way son.
>>2418177
if you took a box cutter to a prismacolor you'd probably ruin it
>>2418171
You must draw your shavings.
>>2418171
that's grade a autismo over there
