most modern photography is edited one way or another. Heck, even if its never seen photoshop, most photos are not entirely true to life, especially when it comes to colors. A photograph is not a true-capture, it's the interpretation through the photographer's eye.
If you can, try not to rely entirely on photographs for reference material. If possible, spend some time outside and study the urban, rural, etc landscapes you can find there.

You're welcome to contribute a wider variety of reference for the human figure if you feel it will help us expand our artistic repertoire. Personally I find it hard to find good reference of people with less than ideal body types because they are less commonly photographed. If you have the resources, please share.
