How do you guys scan your drawings?
I usually just take a picture from my phone, but it never comes out very well. I tried Staples, but they charged me fifteen dollars for nine drawings and had to keep it overnight. And I don't know if I'm willing to shell out for a decent photo scanner of my own.
What do you use?

I use the college library scanner

Yeah, it especially sucked because the first time I did it it was five, then this time they said it was ten because they "used the wrong computer" last time. Then I go to pick it up and it's suddenly fifteen.

Go to a library, it's usually like 5 cents or something.

You can do it with a any phone you just need good lighting. Nice even light that doesn't need too much white balancing

to be honest OP it depends what you plan to do with your scan. If you use it as a sketch, and plan to line and color with digital stuff, you don't really need a scanner, as >>2316338 said.
But if you did the lineart on your paper, just try to get one for cheap, really you will use it for years.

This scanner printer combo cost about $26.00 and it comes full of ink; If you spent $15.00 on nine scans it will pay for itself in eighteen.
