atually that is one of the more basic springs in the 1911. the backgrip springs are far more esoteric.
buy a gun and learn everything about it. they are fun too shoot and learn about. 1911 is a classic. it is the gun i probably know most about.

Get 'World of guns: Disassembly ' of steam.
It's a free game in which you can disassemble and operate a shitton of guns. It can be kinda autistic from time to time but watching the gun operate in 50x slowmo is awesome
