She met Ratner and his crew at Cannes and they started hang out in the same circles and traveling together, a bunch of those Hollywood producer dudes keep a bunch of models close just to pass around, Barbara was one of them, this was around 2013/2014, its why Ratner gave her a small part in one of his movies, she also got into coke in a big way around this time which is why she got dropped from Victoria's Secret, not for the coke necessarily but from getting fat/bloated from the coke.
