The second paragraph in section 1.1 says she was accepted into 3 colleges as she finished high school, but instead she went to that swindler idol academy she mentioned in happy together. It says she wasted 6 months there (taking group lessons, until the guy disappeared with everyone's money, according to the HT ep). Then she accepted a scholarship at Yeungnam University, majoring in mechanical engineering. There she joined the school band, which prompted her to try again pursuing her singing career, so she took a leave of absence and moved to Seoul.

Her debut was in July, 2010, which means she was picked up by the agency earlier in 2010, which matches the 5ish years she said she spent working two jobs and practicing on her own (late-ish 2005 to early 2010, so more like 4 and a half years).
Finally, I couldn't find anything on the article saying she ever went back to school, and the education section at the top still lists her under leave of absence from Yeungnam University, so I think we can conclude she only took one or two semesters of engineering school and then dropped out and never went back to finish her degree.
I think this timeline makes sense and fits all the TV appearances. If anyone has more accurate or more reliable information, please post it.
