Why do people say that the Nazis weren't fascist?

Nationalism Socialism is literally just fascism with racialists elements thrown in. All the characteristics of traditional fascism (absolute loyalty to the state, government headed by charismatic leader with undefined powers, focus on national struggle instead of class struggle, etc.) are all there, it's just that they also added the "Aryan supremacy" thing as well.

Seriously, to say that Nazism wasn't fascist would be like saying that pre-imperial Rome wasn't a republic because they would have temporary dictators step in. i.e. plainly false.
>>
Because its not Fascism, its Fascism with radicalism elements
Also Fascism isn't inherently racist like NatSoc is
>>
I think the general consensus is that Nazis were fascists I don't know many who would disagree. I mean that was kind of their thing.

Every time someone says the Nazis were Fascists you have some retard jump in with "NO FASCISM AND NAZISM ARE ACTUALLY TWO TOTALLY DISTINCT THINGS MUH NATIONAL SOCIALISM IS SO DIFFERENT"
>>
>>927143
>Also Fascism isn't inherently racist like NatSoc is
As stated in the OP.
>>

Then you already answered your own question
>>
Because saying what the Nazis did is all right wing is clearly false as it was also done by the extreme left communists. Also factor in how red and black was stolen from communist flag, it pleased the workers unions by giving mandatory holidays and respectable working conditions rather than abuse and extort them as most right wing countries did
>>
>>927180
I'm not OP though.
If the OP already answered his own question though, the answer must be that NS is a fascist political ideology with added racism.

I've never came across anyone making this claim. You sure you haven't been on alt-right websites for too long? Because I find it hard to find someone arguing this that isn't alt-right.

it's called 4chan. doesn't really matter which board either, i've seen this on /mu/, /tv/, /r9k/ and a bunch of others (mostly those that are filled with underage posters and/or prone to shitposting but not nice)

i'm not the poster you replied to btw
>>
Because in the beginning the fascists really didn't care (as much the nazis would) about race and Darwinian biology, but about the nation and spiritual values.

On the side, NatSoc had a unique occult side whereas Fascism was more Catholic.

So is the idea that fascism is a purely right-wing ideology, though. The underlying point of fascism and its offshoots was to provide a third position that borrowed elements from both the left and right.

Except that's not what fascism is.
>>
>muh nazis were right wing!!
>fascism is some horrible dystopian evil thing where there are no rights and everyone gets killed

According to Mussolini, Fascism is the "marriage" between corporation and state. Essentially, corporations work with the state. That's all you need to know for Fascism. Anything else is American textbook-tier propaganda.

As for the nazis, calling them right wing is idiotic. They had socialism in their party's name for pete's sake. Were nazis fascist? Yes; corporations worked with the state heavily (namely in their military industrial complex). However, this was nothing new. Corporations working with the government was an old Prussian custom.

It's an authoritarian and nationalistic right-wing system of ruling so yeah, that is fascism.
How would you define it?
>>
>>928882
Do people literally have this little understanding and post here?

Fascism is an inherently anti-individualistic way of setting up society.

As such, fascist societies are places
>where there are no rights
or at least no individual rights that the state is obliged to protect, uphold or submit itself to.

>it's not fascism, it's fascism
