The importance of renewable energies, whenever I tell people we are slaves to the system in a way that if they wanted they could cut off our water, electricity and food they laugh at me, telling me to shut up and watch the new season of daredevil.
Things like solar energy, AWG and Rain water harvesting, or even more advanced systems like hydroponics or natural materials (books instead of electonics) that go well with the environment and are independent from the supplier. No one listens to me anyways, they tell me it's not cheap to do all that, but it has been proven otherwise.
Another one is the fall of western civilization as we know it (depravity,mindless consumerism and wild exploitaition of average people, disguised as globalization and free economy.
I have tons of theories, but at the end of the day, even I start to doubt them, since nobody pays attention to it or shows interest. The only place I can talk about these things is here, and it is still too vague in comparison of what we could discuss.

He's also massively over credited that what was modest improvements to already existing technologies.
He didn't invent AC power, nor did any of this "crazy inventions" that were supposedly kept "under the rug" ever materialize to be anything.

outside of dams, there's no single country on earth where renewable energy sources operate without subsidies, which means that if it wasn't for government donating for them, the energy produced by them would be more expensive than energy produced with other methods
Outside of this relatively important problem, in solar panels and wind turbines you need to use inverters to produce stable 50/60hz output and they'll insert shittons of upper harmonics into the system which means that you need good filters as well(dragging the efficiency down) or you'll cook people's electronics.
On top of it, building entire system based off it would be literally impossible because it would require enormous battery banks since the regulation is very limited, cost of building and maintaining those would make entire global economy fall.
They're good addition to typical energetic system, but overall nuclear fission and in the future - fusion are The practical, economical and ecological energy sources for 21st century.

Not only that, but Tesla still made millions working for Westinghouse.
Edison had many character flaws, including being paranoid about patents, which Tesla barely knew anything about. But to deny that he innovated and improved existing tech isn't factual.
