In this the timeline would be as it was, how else would Caesar go from being the shadow of an idea, when his mother's 10 years old or so, to 17 years in the grave? It is also an arc of a young talented man who rises from the gutter to become the most powerful man in the world. He starts off hating France, then becomes a radical revolutionary, then power corrupts him and he becomes what he originally hated. His affair with Josephine and other women are also quite interesting. There are a lot of action and it is a story of rise and fall.
With the right director and writer, this can be great.
