I've personally always dug dadaism. While a bit outdated in contemporary terms, I'd love to see it applied to more modern events.

If you broaden the defination of art enough anything can be art. Including what I just flushed down the toilet. Generally when people use the word 'art' they mean good art. Art that intionally sets out to be bad in order to make some pointless social message would not fall into this category.
