> "it's science we don't have to explain it"
This is the reason it is self explanatory, science can be proven. What you say, it beign a social construct is entirely true but it's just a consequence of these "chemicals" on the particulars and the hope of not dying alone, which we do

>anglos are so dissociated and unable to feel they need to make a chart to try to understand love logically
Daily reminder northern europeans are not humans

That's tantamount to being asked what a square is and responding with "it's a shape," you're not really saying anything about squares in particular. By your reasoning (which I don't deny) every emotion "is chemicals". And yet, we still make distinctions when we feel different things. Instead of just being asked what love is, suppose you were asked what love and hate are. Chemicals? But surely they aren't the same, right? You're going to need to be more specific.

Just because laymen use the field that way doesn't mean the field of study itself is like that. I'd say I'm repping /sci/ but /sci/ is 50% shitposters from /x/ and 50% shitposters from /pol/, both of which mistake the other for a genuine /sci/entific reference.

First of all, science can not be proven (at least not outside of the empiricist paradigm) and secondly nothing is accomplished by saying that something is caused by chemicals in the body. Most of the time this kind of argument just puts an end to a kind of debate that logically has no one true conclusion.
Neuroscientists are the shitposters of psychology.

Three goats, a jug of wine, and absolutely no fucks given if society thinks it's wrong.
Why everyone is went into resentment from mention that love is chemicals? Yes it is but it wasn't the whole story. Your food also a chemicals but who cares about it if it tastes good?
