What would have happened if dinosaurs never went extinct?
Would humans still have become the dominant species or would we have domesticated them and used them for cockfights and such?
My guess is that mammals wouldn't have had the huge opportunity for explosive evolution that they did because most of their competitors wouldn't die out. A big ecological niche was taken up by dinosaurs.
This would mean humans never coming around or at least taking a lot longer.
So instead of Beefsteak, now i could chose Dinosteak in restaurant's menu ?
humans would live in fortified islands, awsum
Lol no
If dinos don't go extinct, dinos rule the planet
Humans evolve from the jungle creatures, monkeys and shit
Mobility >>> stamina when escaping dinosaurs, there's no advantage to cranium so dinos will just rule the earth. Dinos are the pinnacle of natural carnivore and herbivore combat prowess

Dinosaurs didnt really exist, dumb fedora tipper
If dinosaurs never went extinct that implies the conditions that caused them to die off would have never happened, meaning life would have evolved much differently after the Cretaceous period. There is a good speculative evolution book on this by Dougal Dixon.

Mammals would have never developed unless a significant ice age occurred regardless.
