Europa games without a shadow of a doubt.

EU4 is pleb tier history game. If you want a real history game play Victoria 2 desu senpai

I like games like Victoria 2 or EU4, but, in some aspects, they are limited if you compared them to any Total War game
Mine are on Victoria II and HOI 3

In what way exactly? I'm genuinely curious. Total War games are great fun to be sure, but the amount of shit you could pull off in them with relative ease was insane

Actually breezed through many of my high school and college humanities classes because of hours of Age of Mythology. Granted the main campaign is mythological fanservice of the best kind, but it's still a great game.
Would actually be nice to have a non deranged christian made Bible game. I find the Old Testament incredibly interesting, but the things people put out are a trainwreck.
For roleplaying?
Crusader Kings 2
For strategy?
Age of Empires 2
For commie USA?
Vicky 2
I've only really played the Paradox ones but I've been meaning to give Total War a shot. I'm curious to try out any good history based game honestly.

How do the AoE games play compared to PDX games or TW?
Ok I'll just ask now.
Is CK2 any good? I play Vic2 and EUIV.

It's really wacky and fun, but not deeply strategical.
You can easily be plain fucked by pure chance on your traits and shit, but I guess that's what makes a roller coatser fun.

It depends what you're into, I find it comfy.
