Exactly on February 1st I had a dream.
A dream about the poor young girls who became military sexual slavery by Japan. I've prepared myself to bring out a piece of justice for the pure and innocent girls who became helpless victims for the Japanese Imperial Army.
As stated by one of the survivors, "The Japanese Soldiers decapitated one of the girls who resisted their order and put the head into a boiling pot. Then they made the rest of the girls in the group drink the water."
How does it make you feel to see this decapitated head of Emperor Hirohito, the godlike leader of that country?
I won't apologize for this picture, or the meaning behind it. It is not forgivable what they allowed to happen to these poor, innocent girls.

Why is comfort women such an issue when there was a war raging across China, Burma, and islands all across the Pacific? I'm not defending atrocities committed by the Japanese, but it seems like comfort women shouldn't be an issue on par with Nanking or Bataan yet it's frequently mentioned in the same breath. "Ranking" atrocities is sort of dumb, but something about the issue just feels off to me.
