Rome was just an average shithole until Nero rebuilt it.
The Coliseum didn't even get started until Vespasian became Imperator.
OP here. Requesting more pictures of the Kings.

I'm not a studied man, what was the relation between Rome and Greece like? I mean, Greece was part of the Roman republic/empire but still seems very different to me.
Did romans concider greeks to be different people from them?

During this era, Romans toyed with the idea that they were the "New Troy." with their kings being the literal offspring of the Gods during Trojan times. But Romans viewed Greeks as non-barbarians and the closest thing to Romans during conquest and providence time. Even considering Greeks somewhat equal, Athens under Roman rule was slave central.

Rome systematically took Greece apart piece by peice, literally genocided them, Corinth was destroyed, Athens sacked, Epirotes sold into slavery, Seleucids got wrecked, and the Ptolemies were treated like thrash.

The Romans pitted themselves as Trojans to give validity to sacking the Greek world. The Romans were manlets with a massive inferiority complex that was psychopathic to say the lest.

Actually it was more like
Romans>Latins>Italians>Greeks>Romanized barbarians>everybody else

Wouldn't a Latin be the same thing as a Roman after the founding of the city?
It's my understanding that Rome was realistically founded as a consolidation of Latin tribes into a single political entity.

theoretically at least Rome was at war with many other latin cities throughout most of the monarchy.
