People tend to forget Taiwan's prosperity is the result of the Chiangs being removed from power.

Paintings, literature, traditions, festivals, religion. All gone. Fucking commies. China is just beautiful. If it had a constitional monarchy, nationalist/patriot government and free market economy with state sponsored investment in production, China would by far outpower the US today. Simulations have been conducted troughougly and in the timelines China does not become a typical poor east asian country after the KMT wins, it becomes a giant streamroller economy, military power and technological hub. Some simulations indicate the Chinese GDP getting to over 24 trillion USD. But the fucking commies fucked up.

You are missing a rather minor detail. Republic of China wouldn't have as much impetus to modernize it's economy and there wouldn't be a reason for US to prop up regime in name of Cold War competition. The reason why South Korea, Japan and Taiwan became heavily industrialized and modernized fast is lack of natural resources.
Not to mention the fact that Chinese civil war would have been followed up by white terror instead of red terror. China there would have been maybe ten million or so less corpses as collectivization of agriculture and related fuck ups would have been avoided.
China would have simply another party running fascism, other than that it would be pretty much same. It would probably have more effect on other countries in region. Korea probably would be united, then it would be also possible that without communist China Soviet Union would have kept massive military presence in North Korea after WWII and Korean War would have been entirely avoided as it wouldn't have been direct conflict between US and SU instead of proxy conflict. Vietnam war and other conflicts in Indochina would have been avoided or at turned into much smaller counter insurgency wars as there wouldn't have been backing from communist China or easy route for Soviets to supply commies. It would be possible that Vietnam would have remained under French control much longer, possibly it still could be. Japan and Korea would have had less backing from US in both military and economy, also they would have had economic competition from China in years they had their massive economic growth.
