Is pic related a good show?
Also, /his/ approved shows, movies and documentaries.

I enjoy Narcos. It's a very well done look inside Latin America during the 80s
I was just watching it. Seems interesting. They made a point of saying the whole 'brainwashed child murderer' thing about the Hashishin was propaganda by the Sunni to make them look bad.

Yeah, good show. One of the few Netflix shows I didn't drop out of halfway through the first season.

I found it super hammy

I can't speak for how accurate it is. It's entertaining, but it sort of metes out information (all the information in one episode could be summarized in 3-6 minutes), it's super over-dramatic and the reenactments kind of suck.
Pic related is one of my favorite /his/ movies. According to some of my friends from Northern China, it really accurately captures the feel of living in this area from right before the Cultural revolution to the present.

I got maybe two minured in before the reenactments got me all triggered and I shut it off.

This crap is literally just a higher budget Anglo-American remake of the the Colombian series from three years ago, Pablo Escobar: El PatrĂ³n del Mal; not that that show was any good either.
This is now a show about pharaos n shit

WE WAS ANCIENT BLACK COPS: CARL N SHIEET ON DUTY

I liked WWII in HD and Wwii from space. Neither are particularly in depth but if you already know about wwii it's interesting footage and personal accounts. And it's not dreadfully boring to watch either.

Engineering an Empire is pretty good.
>Robocop talking about Roman architecture.
I think there was also a show that simulated ancient battles with Rome Total War, but I forget what it was called.

>Rome Total War
The show was called Decisive Battles (the name might have been an in-joke for TW fans).
The World at War for WW2 doc
Band of Brothers for god tier show
The Pacific for Great tier
