The left-right is a false dichotomy. Take fascism, for example. In its economic policy, it combined socialism and capitalism. Yet it is considered far-right, on the same side as people advocating free market. Anarchists are considered far-left, even though they are basically just anti-establishment, without any form of doctrine. Liberals get cut in half - economic liberalism is right-wing while cultural liberalism is left-wing. It's an idiotic way to view ideologies.
