This would be more fun if they included covert funneling

I doubt any of those islands in the central/western pacific weren't known of (even if they were uninhabited). Ditto those islands in the Caribbean.
>>330553
Every map claiming to have statistical evidence for population sizes before 1800 is unthrustworthy as fuck, really.
>>330562
And why is that?

That's what neo-liberals are.
>>330878
You're saying that like those two things are mutually exclusive.
That said Belarus is socialist as fuck and I don't understand why people have to put "neo" in front of everything. This isn't the Matrix.

Can confirm this
This is the Tabul Rogeriana made by Muslim Cartographist al-Idrisi. North is south and south is north obviously. It was made for the Norman Kings of Sicily Roger the II, written in Arabic because it was the most common language in Sicily at the time. for the XII century is pretty impressive

Why were all the east German states so much larger than the west German states? I mean Bavaria, Bohemia, Austria, Brandenburg, Saxony were all much larger than say Hesse, Oldenburg, the Palatinate, etc. Is there any specific political reason this happened or is it just some strange quirk?

>>330556
I like it, and it's mostly convincing if you've read about the general period, but what is this based on?
>>332225
wtf is gsg
>>332155
Probably a mix of lower population density and the fact that you had the most powerful families (Hapsburg, Hohenzollern) in the East.

Four most powerful dynasties in HRE from around 1300 to 1600
> Brandenburg
East of Elbe, miniscule population density as in less than 750 000 people in 1650
>>332288
it's a not thought through very well alt history, i used franco's flag to just mean a dictatorship, french catalonia being fairly unjustified
>>332225
is much more realistic, if still completely unrealistic. Mind you, the byzantines survived on this map, so. Just some interesting borders in my opinon.
>>332250
Actually, Bohemia was the most densely populated area in Europe with Italy between 1600 and 1800. Some 4.5 million people lived there on the eve of French Revolution, giving it the density of around 85 people per square kilometer. That's why they had such an extensive textile industry, with some 500 000 to 700 000 people working in it.

Whatever did this map should do a Charles I cosplay.
>>332350
the map is interesting to have a look at, but obvs you cant expect it to have any logic behind it
after all its alt history
>>332343
I meant states in the Holy Roman Empire, they weren't German but it was still inside the Empire.
>>332336
No, it is. Why wouldn't it be? This is under Napoleon
>>332291
I read somewhere that that is a higher estimate, whilst the moderate population estimate is 8-10 million (at least for within the territory of the Aztec empire).
Where would I find high quality(in terms of paper) maps for hanging on walls? My wife got me a very nice map of Finland, but the manufacture only makes Finnish maps

That's where all the niggers are they need to import to keep them from seeing the third generation incest crooked teethed balding uneven eyed sub-tamagotchi-IQ-having mouth breathing under bite clenching monstrosities that are simultaneously sister, grandma, wife and uncle for what they are, and thereby prevent nationwide suicide.
>>336026

Actually, I was thinking more of a deportation thing. This is a modern CSA that has an apartheid system of government, and obviously they can't just deport blacks to random countries in Africa. Therefore, they need a territory to deport them to as Negro Territory becomes overpopulated.
