This is my problem with this. Language is ever changing and Truth is an idea, do you mean the concept of truth? Because concepts are social constructions, you cannot hold one in your hands. Truth is whatever I want it to be, what may be truth to you may be different to someone else. It's all semantics really, which I normally don't mind but I feel struggling so long at "truth" just screams to me that we've been going at this at the wrong angle is all.

For occurrences, truth is the causal sequence of interaction which brought about and contains the occurrence. Determining occurrent truth is accomplished through observation.
For observations, truth is a measurement made with the greatest accuracy possible which relies the least upon observer interpretation.
For abstract systems, truth must be consistent with the parameters or axioms of the system.

The best you can hope for is "exists for a given procedure under given parameters within a given confidence interval" which is so far off from the philosophical definition of Truth it may as well not count. Either lower your expectations or give up.

Can truth be revealed? NEWS FLASH: it ain't hiding. Folks have to surpass their want of fulfilling/addressing/recognizing their needs (reality [i.e;"Jesus is the light", "Being gay makes me smarter", "Financial value equals human/moral/legal value", etc.]),
lose the comfort/despair of being alined with the needs of their existence [population control, socio-economic reaction through politically militarized acts, colors, etc.] and just look at the facts; things are, there is and phenomena no longer/have yet to occur. You don't need 'shrooms for a lost weekend or generations of discipline towards a school of thought, just removal of static points to acquiring logic and ignoring subjective obstacles concerning understanding said logic, once acquired.
