You forgot that part where Rommel wanted to inspire a North African revolt against the British T.E Lawrence style, but the Italians spent a decade brutalizing their colonial subjects and the Egyptians Rommel wanted to inspire decided it was better to trust the devils they knew.

>didn't do it as good as Germany
Germany wasn't fascist. It was National Socialist. They are entirely different organic entities of government; they're merely compatible with one another.
>>super subservient to Hitler, was treated poorly and as a lesser in privacy
Mussolini thought that Hitler was an idiot - Hitler verily looked up to Mussolini and Italy. Italy as a nation was only 'subservient' to Germany because Germany was much more powerful.
>>only country to lose to a colonial conflict in Africa
>had to use high tech tanks and biological warfare to conquer a much smaller, developed nation
These are both fair accusations. Italy was terrible at war.
>>lost their fascist stance very quickly and adopted a much more liberal government
This just isn't true. Mussolini became more and more radical as the war progressed and he became closer to Hitler.

all centralised governments are fascist by definition. its a circus. self government is the only semantically true and correct "form" of "government"

If you use the meme definition of fascim, then you're right.

>all centralised governments are fascist by definition.
Gee, so my country's government, by definition, tries to re-mould the liberal reality of a post-Napoleonic era nation to fit a heroic, romanticist ideal in the social sphere, while in the political sphere it tries to re-instate the Roman empire via wide application of modern technology. They're not doing a stellar job then.
Although neither did the Italians I guess.
