Simply plucking one or two people out of history is unlikely to change the larger trends going on. Social unrest having much to do with Industrialism predates Marx anyway. Workers in general were highly mistreated back then. No safety regulations, awful wages, crippling work, no upward mobility. Food was made in ungodly conditions.
The Henry Ford model of "my workers should be able to acutally afford my products" capitalism is a bit newer than Marx. And much newer than that is the current, vaguely socialist technocratic capitalism that automates labor and redistributes wealth through open source and crowd funding efforts.
Capitalism is evolving for the better, and Marxism was a social response to working conditions.
