Is there a more historically influential group of people than the Jews?
>>
>>1378201
black people: they were egyptians, romans, greeks, vikings, chinese, samurai, and holy roman emperors
>>
>>1378217
Don't forget they were also French revolutionaries, Atlantians, the true artists of the Renaissance, the original Jews and the first people to have a space program.

First and foremost, though, they were kangz.
>>

and beethoven, don't forget beethoven and shakespeare

Jews aren't really that historically influential.
by the time Christianity got big, it was so changed that it hardly resembles Judaism, and you Christians barely follow the Jewish laws. that goes double for Muslims.
Culturally and scientifically, Jews are pretty influential, but historically, Jews weren't much more than scapegoats and punching bags.

Whites, but thats too broad.

Italians?(if you count them as romans). Greeks? (Are they the same as ancient Greeks?) Semites? French for the culture? Brits for the worldwide anglo hegemony ?
>>
>>1378295
How did it change exactly?
>>
>>1378201
Ancient Egyptians.

> influenced Greek math and philosophy
> influenced Jewish monotheism (cult of Aten)
> invented bread

the list goes on
>>
>>1378395
WW2 gave them gigantic leverage in worldly affairs and effectively established them as an untouchable race, both socially and politically.
>>
>>1378427

>invented bread

No, they didn't. Bread predates history

Does the Catholic Church count as a group of people? How about Christians in general? Westerns? Ancient Greeks? The Chinese?
>>

>>1378395
during the late 1800s, Jews started moving to Palestine(currently Israel) to make a country, after the independence of Israel, Jews had a country, which means we have a government to back us up and a military to protect us. something that hasn't existed since the Jewish roman wars
>>
>>1378585
leavened bread was invented by egyptians

argue muh semantics all you want but they did it
>>
>>1379165

You're moving goalposts here lad. Bread wasn't invented by Egyptians even if leavened bread was. Unleavened bread is considered bread even in modern cuisine.
>>
>>1378427
>There is very little extant information on Ancient Egyptian philosophy today, although what little information is available reveals that it is highly dissimilar to Ancient Greek philosophy. Despite claims to the contrary by pseudohistorians, there is no known influence by Ancient Egyptian philosophy on Ancient Greek philosophy or Ancient Egyptian philosophy influencing the development of Eastern or Western philosophy

Israel has generated more antisemitism than anything else in history m8. And jews die every day for the sake of Israel. Seems like a bad idea to me. And your military is a joke
>>
Italians, Greeks, Frenchmen, Brits, Spaniards, Germans, Persians, Egyptians, Arabs, Chinese, Indians, Japanese

But still, Jews are very impressive considering they haven't had their own country for most of history
>>

Only the Anglos

The most wealth, the most military power, the brightest minds and the most culturally succesful.
>>

before Jesus: irrelevant middle-eastern kingdom repeatedly getting conquered by Babylon, Persians, Greeks, Romans etc. they then created christianity, which became very influential, but that was the only Jewish idea that really took of for a while.

after Jesus: insular communities living in diasporas, were exluded from political decision making, were almost completely irrelevant all the way until Jewish emancipation.
>>
>>1379467
And Christianity too was probably influenced by Greek ideas, I would say the Greeks were the most influentian people of all time, at least in the West. Western civilization is basically Christianity + Greek thought, and the Greeks are in part responsible for Christianity too.

>israel founded rtight after halacaust that killed millons of jews.

yeah...keep talking nonesense.
Jews are hated no matter what. If they have their country, if they dont. If they are right wing and if they are left wing. If they are orthodox or secular, if they work the land or are intelelctuals, if they assimilate and if they stay amongst themselves.
>>
>>1379484
In what way are greeks responsible for christianity? Jews are.
>>
>>1379508

They are definitely hated more widely today than at any point in history. Jews are responsible for antisemitism; they even go so far as to cultivate it, because it strengthens their feelings of isolation and uniqueness. The Jews invented the victim complex. They propagate it today in Israel like nothing else.

>that goes double for Muslims.
I would say Islam is closer to Judaism than Christianity. Neither believe in the divinity of Jesus, both restrict pork from diet, etc.
>>
>>1378427
You could say the same for Sumerians, who are even older. We still use a lot of concepts they invented.
>>
>>1378201
OP you have to define what you mean by influential.

You could easily say that Africans are the most influential, because literally all hominids originated there. Therefore all of humanity was influenced by Africans.
Post colonial times, it's most likely to be some group from Europe, such as British, French, Dutch, or possibly Ashkenazim (who span multiple countries throughout Europe).
Pre-Renaissance, it's a toss-up, but most likely some group of people from the middle east and/or Mediterranean.
But that's only if we're talking about cultural significance.
>>
>>1379562

Based on the last 50 years of Jewish literature trying to understand the cause of 'new antisemitism'
>>
>>1379619
In some ways but in some others islam is closer to christianity.
Aftter all, both Islam and Christianity spread and were important in huge empires while judiams has always remained marginal.

Anglos, invented/built/discovered the world as we know it today.

Meme answer is Jews

Real answer is Anglos

Its pointless to talk about jews judaism or isreal here...
The khazar hypotheses is not supported by evidence.

The fact that they don't look middle-eastern, unlike the Mizrahim (the real jews) seems like a pretty good start.

Germanics generally, including Anglo-Saxons.

Scots had a lot of influential people too, pound for pound it might be them.

>>

Not him but when the EuroJews went to Israel after WWII they found that they didn't like getting their lily-white hands dirty. So they stirred up anti-semitism in Arab countries where Mizrahi Jews had been living peacefully since forever and induced thm to move to Israel as a worker caste. They are looked down upon as "Arab Jews" and given the shittiest jobs and housing by the Ashkenazi master race.

How did the Jews and Gypsies become so different from each other while living in Europe for the same amount of time? One group is clinically retarded and has culturally sociopathic tendancies and the other is pretty much master race
>>
>>1379815
Well ok, wops and dagos discovered a lot of it but much good they did with it. Compare Spanish-speaking former colonies withn English-speaking ones.
>>
>>1379843
The Jews have a huge value placed on education for religious reasons.

In medieval Europe, not a lot of people could read, so any kind of trade that required literacy and existed mainly in cities got heavily Jewed up.

Stop spreading this nonsense. Arab governments formally expelled their Jews because they were butthurt about losing the 1948 Arab-Israeli war. If your claims were correct, we would have seen a mass exodus of Jews from Iran in 1948 due to "Jews whipping up antisemitism". This did not occur, because Iran, unlike most other Muslim-majority countries, was aligned with the West prior to 1979. After 1979, Jews began to flee, but there are still around 2,000 Jews in the country today, a far greater number than in any other Muslim-majority country in the Middle East, because the government never formally expelled them.
Antisemitism in Muslim-majority countries has existed since Islam's inception, it was simply expressed through more insidious means (Jizya, implied second-class citizen status, etc). It only turned violent after Jews attempted to reject this status.
You haven't even explained how Ashkenazi Jews would ferment antisemitism in Muslim nations. You can't even point to "da Joo media" because such institutions simply did not exist in the immediate post-colonial Middle East. And of course there was some discrimination towards Mizrahi when they first immigrated, because they happened to look like, dress like, and speak like the people that were just trying to kill them. However, this has gotten much better over time, with intermarriage being at a record high.

Roman society is the basis of a whole lot of modern stuff. But then the Francs refined what the Romans did to the point where their ideas came to resemble contemporary ones. And the Romans would be nothing without the Etruscans. This question is stupid.

The Romans did borrow heavily from the Greeks though.

The Irish and Scots have had huge influence on the world particularly the Western world. You will find people of Irish descent in the Banking, governmental, Military and basically all High ranking positions throughout the western world.

yeah, the massive group of people that kill them

In Israel with a good tan, they sure as hell do

>it was so changed that it hardly resembles Judaism

That depends what you measure them against. Christians are very different from Jews and Muslims when you're just comparing Abrahamic religions and their various denominations/heresies, but when you compare them to other religions the Abrahamic ones are quite similar.
