Is anyone here a nihilist? It seems that many people on the other boards like /b/ and /pol/ are. Nietzsche was a nihilist too.

>Nietzsche was a nihilist too.
And look at how he turned out at the end of his life.
I'm more of an absurdist, but I like nihilism. Although, many people seem to call themselves nihilists without knowing what it is.
a true nihilist wouldn't spend time on 4chan. or yes. who cares

Nietzsche was NOT a nihilist.
He said that nihilism is a potential response to the death of God.
"Get rich, or die tryin" is the sort of nihilist living that Nietzsche predicted and criticized.

Nietzsche is a nihilist. When he uses the term it has an idiosyncratic definition that is unique to him. His use of the term is pretty close to something like life denying. When we talk of moral nihilism (which is what people mean when they talk of Nietzsche) we mean a belief in the lack of an ontology of morality. This is indisputably his position.

Most of the children of /pol/ are repressed morons, sometimes Christian, sometimes not, who are overly concerned with identity politics and feel threatened by tolerance.
None of that lines up with nihilism senpai

>According to Nietzsche, it is only when nihilism is overcome that a culture can have a true foundation on which to thrive. He wished to hasten its coming only so that he could also hasten its ultimate departure.
