There is an interesting current of giantism throughout history. And this isn't /x/ shit either, a lot of this is pretty clearly documented. Despite conspiracy theorists, the Smithsonian, for one, has a decent catalog of giant skeletons.

Gigantism is a genetic expression, just like blond hair and blue eyes and the ability to drink milk in adulthood. Yet, that last trait is common throughout Northern Europe. It's a recessive trait, yet it's able to be expressed over a large population.

Why couldn't gigantism occasionally be the same? Would whole populations of giants really be out of the question? What about whole cultures?

does anyone know of any links to information about the excavation of these mounds that would confirm this? I can't find anything but nutters peddling obvious hoaxes.
