How take so long to disband the Praetorian Guard?
Were emperors blind? Didint they see as an enemy inside Rome? Those fuckers killed more emperors than anyone.

Augustus made the Praetorian guard with the intention of them bumping off the Emperor if he went full goober. It's frankly a wonder they didn't kill more Emperors than they did.
