Not a documentary, but I'm reading Andrews Roberts' book "Napoleon: A Life" (Napoleon the Great in non-America) and it's excellent.
Really good passage from earlier today that I was reading:

Pretty much all documentaries are shit and only provide basic information about whatever.

Read books instead. Infinitely better and infinitely more in-depth.
I think we also need to add a section on how to ask questions in the sticky. "Guys wut do I watch if I want to learn hitsory" is getting old.
