Did he do anything right? Literally the only reason he made his advances was because A. Churchill pulled out troops and sent them to Greece, and B. Germany was reading American code, basically giving them all of British plans.

Overextended his lines trying to win a front with no real hope of winning due to british naval supremacy.

His supply problems are almost entirely due to the fact that he moved away from his ports where they were delivering supplies, in a country that had no railroads. He lost a hell of a lot more from the attrition of trying to move his stuff up to the front line by truck and camel than he did to British raiders.
