What a handsome lad when he was younger. I'm not a homosexual but if I was a girl I'd let him fuck me over and over again.

To be fair most 'NatSocs' hate the man; for being a pacifist, socialist promoting religious tolerance, free speech, refusing to adopt biological anti-Semitism, only supporting voluntary reparation, and spending most of his politically relevant years in the British Labour Party.
Ironically enough the term which best describes his ideology is national Socialism in the literal sense, rather than German National Socialism, with early slogans such as 'Mind Britain's business'. Intersting figure can't help but respect the man in his earlier years, however by 1934 his party became dominated by Hitler loving 'Fascists' from the more Conservative than anything else British Fascisti and National Fascisti following an ill-fated merger of the BUF and those groups, him and his ally Alexander Raven Thomson (formerly Communist Party of Great Britain) were reduced to espousing the politics of the grassroots including a forced adoption of anti-Semitism in 1934 under the influence of Neil Francis Hawkins from the former Fascisti, and the post-war Union movement concept of Europe a narion' to this day still feels like a shallow and cheap copy of the original Empire based politically seperate but economic bloc, which was no longer feasible owing to the end of the Empire.

He wasn't too bad himself though
Didn't britain have ridicilous amount of different fascist(or fan of) organizations? Why were there so many and how did they differ from each other?

In the 1920s-1930s there were 3 or 4 organisations of note, as well as multiple smaller organisations which existed at the time, with the big names being the;
British Fascisti (1923-1934)
National Fascisti (1924-1928)
Imperial Fascist League (1929-1939)
British Union of Fascists (1932-1940)
Truth be told very few of the originations were 'Fascist' in the traditional sense, most being nothing more than arch-conservative and anti-communist originations. The original movement the British Fascisti/British Fascisti was exactly this, inspiration was taken from the mobilisation of Italian society and adoption of uniform, but for the most part that was it, the movement was generally dominated by the Upper class such as Socialites and low ranking Miktiary offices, and much of what they did was steward Conservative Party meetings and engage communists there, never really amounted to much but remembered as the first, and for being led by a woman
The National Fascisti were a splinter group from the British Fascisti owing to internal power struggles and political questions, though keen to establish a British brand of Fascism if amounted to very little, was still mostly a Conservative organisation, only noted for launching the careers of Arnold Spencer Leese, and the infamous Lord Haw Haw - William Joyce
The Imperial Fascist League was another BF splinter group but one that built up small if not dedicated following under its leader Arnold Spencer Leese, the group rather than develop its own British Fascisti ideology attached itself to German National Socialism for its entire history and prouded itself on their support for racial anti-Semitism, going as far as attacking meetings by the BUF and referring to them as the British Jewnion of Fssicsts, and Mosley as a Kosher Fascists, their flag was simply a Swastika defacing a Union Jack
Pic related is of the Imperial Fascist League

>tl;dr, he was a dyed-in-the-wool fascist, but of the "national SOCIALISM" kind, not the "NATIONAL socialism" kind
