I love fantasy porn... but I am very picky. I mostly... stick to furry shit and (antho) mlp fanfiction... but have tried to get into hentai.
A few years ago, I started playing Monster Girl quest but was putt off by some of the more aggressive rape scenes and the REALY underage stuff (Yes I am a Moro Fag thank you)
Then I checked out a game called Sarah The Space Pirate because it had futa and examination in it but the first sex scene was a very brutal rape that honestly made me feel sick and sad after it all.
I would like to find something more "vanilla" but still fantastical and exotic. Something more cartoonist and less masochistic.
Any recommendations... or is what I am seeking too obscure or non existent.

yea as mentioned desire dungeon is pretty vanilla, but that's the only one I can think of. MGQ is actually pretty tame compared to a lot of other monster girl games like, for example, the violated hero series or the lv 1 whatever they're called ones.
you might also want to check out ROBF, it isn't exactly the same type of eroge (rpgmaker rpg) but it's one of the best h games of all time imo and it's vanilla as fuck for the most part.
lightning warrior raidy is fairly solid
vanadis monstergirls vn's is more vanillish but they not translated as far as i know.
if you're looking for reverse rape like in mgq then lightning warrior raidy probably isn't for you though, since the lead is somewhat... assertive
Violated Hero is good. Alot of femdom stuff though. The further you go in the series the more insane it can get. Only one futa scene that I know of.
Try the first one if you like and work your way up the releases until you stop feeling comfortable. Cheers bro
