これには全てのオブジェクトと別に黒いオブジェクトも用意しなければならず、シーンが出来上がったあとに
黒オブジェクトに入れ替えねばなりませんでした
LWを使ってる人は知っていると思いますが、オブジェクト入れ替えをするとよ~く落ちますw
そのため一体一体入れ替える度にセーブをしてフォグ用シーンを作っていたわけです(結構な手間)
で、作り直しの最中、ライトを削除した時に気づいてしまいました･･･
『画面のオブジェクトを真っ黒にするなら、ライトを0%にすれば良いのでは???』

I said it before, but Umemaro is the codifier of 3D-H. He's the first one to have released quality 3D-H animations, and he rides on that success. As a result, he has a long and faithful fanbase. Obviously as of today he's no longer the only one to release quality 3D-H but since he's been there for so long and keeps releasing stuff on a rather consistent basis his fanbase isn't going away anytime soon.
The rest is pretty much your opinion on his works (especially if you're that guy who keeps moaning about huge tits). I personally find that he has technically stagnated. I feel he has good practical, empirical/practical knowledge of his tools, but little theoretical knowledge. Him using the same 3D software for 10+ years (and I mean, the same version of the same program) before eventually switching is evidence of that: couldn't switch too much because he'd be lost, until he had to switch because technology marches on eventually. He still uses that god awful movie player for all of his works as well as that god awful resolution that's neither HD not even 16/9. His lack of theoretical knowledge about overall 3D technique slowed his progress down. He's most likely the kind of guy who learnt how to do 3D nearly purely by experimenting. At least, that's what I think.
