Same bra. I remember playing it when they first released the demo then right that it was some good shit and was not wrong. It was really charming actually. It has only a few h-scenes though. I initially played it for those scenes but grew to care about the characters much more which is what it is all about

Try Bible Black or euphoria if you can handle more hardcore content (and lots of bad endings for BB). The VNs are much better than their Anime adaptations and have pretty good stories for Nukige.
I also never played a VN before, is there any hentai ones, that's basically completely choose your own adventure style, with a fuckload of different paths? Also with sexy art ofc.
Cross channel was my first VN, it took some time to get to the good parts, but near the ending i was reading the sex scenes just because I did not want to miss anything, the story itself was much more interesting.
To this day Cross channel is one of my favorite vns, give it a try.

Muv Luv is IMO the best English translated VN out there, but you have to sit through 5-10 hours of shit in Extra before it starts getting good. Like someone else suggested, Katawa Shoujo and Steins;Gate are both great starter VNs.
