I went back and poured over the text some more and learned a couple new things. I'm still not sure what it means, but I can make a better guess at least.
"恋するキツネは誰が為に鳴く"
"恋するキツネは" is easy, 恋する=to be in love, キツネ=fox and also the name of the female protagonist, and は indicates the subject of the sentence.
誰が apparently means "for whom", 為に is "for the sake of" (I totally misread that first, hard kanji to lookup), and 鳴く is when animals make a sound.
So I guess it could be read as "For whose sake does the fox in love cry out"? It's just a subtitle to the manga, so I'm guessing it doesn't really make much sense. Maybe someone who really knows japanese can do a better job now that I've written the sentence down.

Otherwise this is about as good as I can make it without a ton more work to fix minor details/references.
I'm still not sure about the dress-up-in-school-uniform part, could be a reference to something dark in Mitsune's backstory or something.
The gist of the story should be ok, just change whatever if it makes it more interesting. Also like I mentioned earlier, english isn't my native tongue, so if a phrase seems unnatural or stilted please just write whatever you think fits (I'm assuming english is your native tongue :p )
